If you haven’t heard yet, our 2023-2024 yearbooks are in! High school students can pick up their copies in Room 311 and elementary students can pick up their copies in the elementary office. Any graduated student or their parent can pick up their copy in the High School office. Extra copies will be available when all the pre-ordered copies are picked up. Click on "Order Now" underneath School Time Photos
Enter "BASD" into the Event or Organization Name Search Bar
Click on the "Baltic School District BASD" and follow the steps to place order
Paper packets were sent home with PreK-5th grade students last week. Additional paper packets are available in the elementary office.
Baltic Students, Parents, and Community
We are excited to have our first home volleyball game in our new facility, tomorrow, August 29th, against Colman-Egan. Please note that the JH VB games will be played in the now MS gym and the C, JV, and Varsity games will be played in the HS gym. The order of events will be as follows:
- 7th (3:45, MS Gym)
- 8th (after 7th grade, MS Gym)
- C (5:15, HS Gym)
- JV (after C, HS Gym)
- V (after JV starting around 7:15, HS Gym)
We hope to showcase our new digital Daktronics boards in our gym and all of the other features that come with the new space. We look forward to seeing you all there supporting our Baltic Bulldogs and helping us to fill the seats in our new gymnasium. Thank you and Go Bulldogs!
This is a friendly reminder that Fall Sports Pictures are today. Since we got this notification out late we plan to leave the window open for a while to get pictures ordered online. Please let me know if you want a physical form sent home with your student and we will get that form to Photography by Mark. Instructions to order are found below.
To order pictures, all you have to do online is follow the link to the Photography by Mark website, (https://schooltimephotos.com/) click order now and you should be able to put in an event named "BASD". Then you can sign in and purchase picture packages online.
Baltic Fine Arts Boosters need your help! Please consider signing up to help at the volleyball concession stand. Students and parents/family members who work will earn credit in the student's fundraising account. If you don't have a student going on the 2027 Fine Arts Trip, we'd still appreciate your help as the proceeds benefit all Baltic Fine Arts JK-12. Your support helps provide fine arts opportunities to all students!

Baltic Athletic Booster Club is offering Yard signs and car decals for your fall sports athletes.
The store will be open until next Friday – August 30. You are able to customize the yard sign with your last name or you can put Bulldogs.
The Booster Club is not using this as a fundraiser. They are being offered to you at our cost to say thank you and fill the town with Baltic School Spirit. The Booster Club will distribute them once they are in. Printing time is around 2 weeks.

The Baltic PTO will be having its next meeting on Thursday, August 22nd at 6 pm in Ms Whipple's room.
You can use door J on the west side of the school as you go back toward the playground.
The Baltic School Activity Passes are now available for purchase. Steps to get your activity passes can be found below:
1. Click on the link provided - https://www.gobound.com/sd/schools/baltic/tickets
2. Select the passes you would like to purchase.
a. Adult, Couple, or Student
3. Fill out your customer information and payment information.
4. The activity passes will be emailed to the email you provided.
The email will contain a QR code that will be scanned at the gate for activities and you will be allowed in. If you purchase student passes, send that QR code to your child and they will open that up to be allowed into the game. Once the QR code is scanned and activated for the activity it will show as used. This pass will get you into all activities unless otherwise specified.

The Baltic School District and the South Dakota High School Activities Association want to remind fans to act in a positive and sportsmanlike manner this school year. We are excited to open our new high school gym and welcome fans back to our football/track complex this year! We want these experiences to be a great environment for our fans, players, coaches, and officials. Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year in the Baltic School District. We will have our annual back-to-school night on Wednesday, August 14th. The schedule is below:
• 5:00-7:00 – Public Open House for the New Baltic High School - please use the EAST entrance of the new high school
• 5:30-6:30 – Elementary open house
• 6:30-7:30 - Middle School Orientation with Mr. Aaker in the Middle School Gym
The Baltic Parent-Teacher Organization and Baltic School Board will be serving Hot Dogs in the Elementary Commons starting at 5:30!
The Baltic School District is looking for substitute teachers and a part-time custodian for the 2024-2025 school year. If you are interested, please see the district's employment opportunities page. Anyone interested in being a substitute teacher, there will be a meeting on Tuesday, August 13th at 2:00 in the elementary school commons.
